I adjusted the TPS, and it seemed like it barely passed? but when I adjusted the throttle-plate stop screw to proper adjustment, and put the throttle body back on, the truck did not want to idle at all!! and when I shorted out the timing plug, there was no difference in idle, so I am going to replace the TPS.

But on another note, I did move the timing to about 12 degress and took it for a cruise around the blcok (although it wouldn't idle) and it really did run GREAT! Now i just need it to do it properly!

The cheapest I found on the net was $75 and wouldn't be here til next week. So I ordered a Borg Warner one and it'll be in tom, but I"m embarrassed to say what I paid, my patience is long gone, so whatever. Tom I will install the new 2 stage thermostat I'm picking up at Toyota at 8am and the new TPS. Well see from there.
