Things are moving along...
I pulled the Gen 1 engine harness last night.

I welded the mounts today...

Here it is as it sits on the new mounts. The guesstimation of the amount it would compress the rubber seemed to work out pretty well.

I then started working on the exhaust. It's really close to being a perfect fit...close to the point where I think there is probably a "perfect" location for the engine that would require no modification (maybe next time). The passenger torsion bar was the only real issue. The exhaust may ultimately need to be modified by an exhaust shop, but I figured it was good enough for now.

Here is a pic of the second cut I had made to the oil pan. It may not be entirely necessary, but the extra room won't hurt.

I've got the engine back out of the truck now and am about to start pulling pieces off for powdercoating. At this point I think I'm basically down to plumbing and wiring.
