Well damn. By the time I get mine back together, you'll likely be done. Give me a ring when you go wheel it, Eddy has my number...
Fasteddy's advice is occasionally sound...

Ummm.... ![[Linked Image]](http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp91/nateadam_photos/Montero%20Engine%20Conversion/Wherestherocker.jpg) ...I guess I have the DOHC 23V. The other rocker was still floating around in there. I'm going to investigate this further tomorrow. Latest progress: I've got the engine torn down to short block and am going to get a bunch of stuff tanked tomorrow.

Probably Ball...I mean, they did the work for that 200+hp diamante motor...and Matt's Jeep hasn't 'sploded yet. And they're right next door to the powdercoater.

That truck has not been right since I kept it from rolling over... Is that Ole Yeller? I thought that yellow truck looked familiar. Eddy, you'll have to fill me in on the story of how it is now getting a 3.5 swap. Last time I saw it, your son was driving it out of my driveway. I've been gone too long and missed the threads. -Pmontero

I let my wife drive the yellow truck. She drove it everywhere. Of course she believes the throttle is an on/off switch. She loved the thing so much that the thrust bearing for the crank was found in the oilpan. It was still running though. SRTNate took it off my hands and has had "fun" with it ever since. My sister was kind enough to give me her 91 4 door.

<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> Only Ole Yeller would still be running with his guts on the ground. I'm glad to see he's still in the 4x4wire family and in good hands. I haven't decided whether to paint my diesel SWB '87 Montero yellow when the conversion's done. Maybe he'll have to stay gold!
