Meanwhile, I have a slight oversight to document...

I was not aware that the Gen 2 3.5L flywheel had 3 more teeth on it. This puts the starter in an incorrect location to bolt into the Gen 1 transmission.

I apparently forgot to take an "after cutting" pic, but you get the idea...

This all took place about a week ago, so the engine is primed, sparkplugs are in, and all the final little bits are on the engine. I still need to finalize the fuel lines, but they're probably 9/10ths of the way done. One other main sub-project that needs to be completed is to adapt the Gen 2 Mass Airflow Sensor to the Gen 1 air box...but I have somewhat of a plan for this.
