I might have missed but did you relocate the battery for this to work out? Good job on the air box. The tube is not tobad you have many ways to tackle it but as a reminder you need to have a joint or some span of the tubing to be flexiable for the engine vibration. i would lob off the middle part of the rubber hosing and bend out some steel tubing and fit it into the rubber elbows You have left. good Luck with it.
