Looking for takers on a hard core run into the Sierra's.
Dates are currently open but we're looking at a 2-3 day run over a weekend in June. I will update this top thread as that develops.
Trails I'm considering are... - Rubicon - Pardoe - Deer Valley + Slick Rock - etc.
Rig Requirements/Suggestions: 32-33" tires Traction aid (LSD, or Locker) Armor (rocker panels, re-enforced skid plates under engine, tranny, gas tank)
Note: This one will definitely not be for those worried about dents (although we do our best to avoid damage, it's always a possibility).
Let me know who's interested.
Update Changes to June timeline due to a variety of schedule conflicts. Looking more likely for sometime in July.

I'm shooting for in barring that REDCAR is all set with the new tranny swap.
I'm pretty much have all the requirements plus the winch.
I'll get some serious wrench time in this next week so we'll see how the swap starts. I need to get the TQ done and such.
But count me in!!!

Ray, It will depend on when it is - I would really like to do this one.
End of June is prefered for me. Trails I'm wanting to wheel on are... - Rubicon ... This is my choice - Pardoe ... This is less desireable. cause I want to do the Rubi.

...hard core...
Trails I'm considering are... - Rubicon - Pardoe - Deer Valley + Slick Rock
I would not say that Pardoe, Deer Valley and Slick Rock are "hard core". I was there in a mild shiny vehicle and there was no damage and I did not get stuck. Pardoe is especially easy. A fella on a stock open 1st-generation Isuzu Trooper, with manual tranny, without rock sliders, on stock tires, did Pardoe trail just fine. I dented a little my rear right fender on a tree because the trees stand very close there. As they get thicker every year, the gap is getting smaller Rubicon is in a totally different league. Ray, you probably have to go to Rubicon.

I would not say that Pardoe, Deer Valley and Slick Rock are "hard core". I was there in a mild shiny vehicle and there was no damage and I did not get stuck. I did that more to 'under promise / over deliver'. Those that know the trails will know that they're not really hard core but those that don't know it need to realize there is a much higher probability for trail related rig damage versus easier trails like those I've been doing on past trips. i.e. I'm scaring off those who are most concerned with trail 'rash'.
