Part of what you are paying for in those "kits" is the know-how and completeness if you're not sure how to do it yourself.

Yes, you can use those switches from lowrangeoffroad if you know how. I used standard momentary on-off-on switches and some LED indicators from Radio Shack when wiring up my buddy's lockers, but those are much nicer.


Also keep in mind that if you don't have the diff plugs/harness you'll need to buy those too, which are fairly pricey since they're new Toyota parts.
