I have the 84 FSM, but don't have scans of the diagrams to send.

I see no brown wires on the IGN switch, but 3 wires with "B"(black) as their primary color:
B-W goes to the starter solenoid
B-R goes to the ign system
B-Y goes to the "engine" fuse & the "wiper" fuse

Do your brown wires look like factory?
