Hi all,

I haven't been around for some time due to the ups and downs of life, death, and everything else in between. When last you saw me I had started rebuilding the upper part of the engine on my '89 LWB Montero with the assistance of a friend. We got it through the installation of rebuilt heads and then he moved. Not being a stellar mechanic I didnÆt' want to tackle it myself for fear of messing things up and hoped to get back to it someway...somehow. Unfortunately part of that "life thing" has been my wife losing her job of 11 years. We are tight all around and need to sell the project. I am in it about $3500, and have everything but a few belts needed to get it back together. Including the rebuilt heads spent ($400 on those), rodded and pressure tested radiator (another $100), new stock fan ($90), full gasket set ($100), installed new master and slave clutch cylinders ($50+). The body is straight and the BF Goodrich MT's have about 70% of their life left in them. Its been on non-op so there are no outstanding fees. ItÆs a great vehicle and a good mech could have it rolling in a day or so.
