well... I held my breath and rapped it harder using a piece of hardwood between the BFH and the housing.... it finally popped off. (no hidden bolt...just the 3 bolts and nut on a threaded stud). The gasket is really adhered to the manifold... as if sealer was used but as far as I know it is original. I guess the years under pressure bonded it. No torque spec in the FSM for the bolts. I'm thinking only 9 ft/lbs or so ? Growing up back when aluminum was rare on an engine I always want to overtighten....
