What if all that was being pulled by and airplane on treadmill while throwing something in the opposite direction at exactly the same speed. Mind boggling.

See.....I think the plane will fly because the wheels are free spinning. Wheels will just spin twice as fast as the prop bites the air and creates air over the wing/lift.

If the treadmill could constantly match the wheels speed then....... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
