Thanks for the suggestion about going for the aftermarket bumper. I may do this. However, I'm still haven't decided wether I will keep this one or sell it once it's presentable.

So, yesterday Off-roader & I hung the new door. The night before I spent about 1/2 an hour in removing the swing shut lock from the bottom of the door and popped the interior plastic pieces off enough to unplug the wiring harness. So, we un bolted the door, put the new one on & inserted the shims back where they came from and the door was aligned perfectly.
