North above Schroon Lake is a little place named North Hudson. Back in 57, 58, and 59 I had a job up there in the summer wrestling alligators. There was a reptile garden up there called New York Serpentarium. I gave reptile lectures and handling of various reptiles. Early in 60 the state bought the place and I suppose they built the interstate right over the top of it.
Watch out for them summer bugs.. a good flight of skeeters have been known to carry small statured folks right off.
