Homer is a rual farm town so there are loggin trails, farm roads and stuff like that in the area. some ski mountains have trails as well. but your in a cool area because you can get to Vermont, Mass and the adirondecks rather quickly. I know western Mass has a jamboree on the Mohawk trail or close to it. Lake George area they have events up there all the time for a variety of stuff. So how do you like NY so far?

It's really pretty and the laws are subtly different... And there is no off-roading (that I've found) compaired to SoCal. So far it's nice. I like my new job. But it takes some gtting used to. For example... Water falls from the sky, and the mountains arn't on fire.

Sunder I might need to mention the drug trade. You are living on one of the most highly used roadways in america. Montreal to New York City has lots and lots of smugglers on it. When one of those State Police cars pull you over don't think of it as a lark. Them cops up there are primed and ready. Be nice...real nice. Speakin of that...
So in my CA Drivers License I have long hair and a bushy beard. For my new job up here, I cut my hair shaved my face, ETC... So none of my co-workers have ever seen me with long hair. So when I saw one of my co workers had long hair in an old picture I told him I used to have long hair. Of course he didnÆt believing me, so I showed him my DL. I said something like ôHere look, this is my CA state license to sell drugsö. That took off like a rocket in the office, so now when I meet new people the person doing the introducing always says hey check out his license to deal... Being a cocky sarcastic idiot with a cop would prolly get me sent downtown out here. Thanks for the warning BJ!!
