On sand yes. Leave about 10 psi in there so you don't break your bead on your tires. Make sure you have an air compressor that WORKS, jack with pad base, and a tow strap in any case. And do NOT put yourself in a bad situation (like being double axled and the tide coming in). Good sense is a great tool.
