Hey all, just debating whether I am going to sell or keep my Pajero like I had planned. I hate to even think about selling it as I love it but I may not have a choice as I am planning on moving to a larger house, which unfortunately comes with a bigger mortgage. So the question is, what would it be worth to try and sell it? Any suggestions?? I was thinking around the 6500.00 mark with all the accessories and maybe even the 33's but not certain about those. I hate this thought of possibly letting it go but its not certain yet so I guess I should see if its worth me to sell it first. 140000 kms and no accidents, alpine stereo and OME suspension, surco safari rack and misc other parts and things.
Thanks all.

Give craigslist and Kijiji a look... but it's really hard to say - I've seen trucks like mine on there (with the 2.8) for less than what you're looking to get. But who knows what condition they're in? It's a niche market, and there are examples of prices all over the map. Nobody seems to really know what to ask for them. I'd say come up with a number that you want to get, float it, and see how many bites you get? If none, lower it, and try again.
I'd be interested in the rack though, if it comes to that...

a 1991 in "okay" condition, bone stock sold locally here at an auction for $4500, had 130,000(ish)km. but I'd say if yours was in good running condition with the lift and the goodies would be worth around the $6500-7000 area. these things don't seem to depreciate too much.
I have already got $6800 through insurance due to hail damage 2 years ago, but there are is very few tiny dings in the hood and front of the roof. and I would expect to sell mine for around $5000-$5500 with my rack/ladder and other goodies. and I've got 200,000km.

i got $7000 for my 91. it came with 33 BFG AT's on aftermarket 15x10 black rims. Window tint stereo system exhaust system 120,000kms Truck was mechanically very sound.
He got a good deal, i was satisfied at that price. i like the buyer to get the better end of any deals i do.

Well thanks....This is not an easy decision and not one I have taken lightly but I don't have the time, money or resources these days to hold onto it so I think I will likely post it for sale by the end of the day. I am sure if I post this thing I will be making a mistake. However, probably something I need to do.

It was actually 7K + a free pair of sunglasses! Tom, I'm pulling my trailer back to Ontario in 3 weeks - drop by before then if you want them back. You'll get a kick out of your 'ol Paj. It's now sporting a boost gauge in place of the altimeter, gps mounted onto the compass, blacked out grill & badges, blanked EGR & new "intercooler turbo" badges as of yesterday. Feels way tighter with the new balljoints & tirerods & just recorded 9.3 l/100 k's highway & starts like a dream with the new fuel filter. Also picked up a used 8" drop equalizer for the trip back & welded a bike (mountain bike, not bike) mount onto the top. Thanks again for the truck.

Good luck with the sale! I want to sell either the Paj or the bike. Just to make some room before we start to sell the house (upgrade time - I need a garage!)
I love my bike, but keeping the Paj would be a more family-friendly hobby to keep around.
Hmmm... could always sell both and get a 4M40 powered Spacegear....
