I would go with supercharging a 3.0 V6 to get the same HP without the packaging problems... Me, too, Kevin - but I need a real small pulley or a much bigger blower!..... AND methanol injection..... AND an aftercooler..... and..... and...... Frank

Well, fuel dragsters generate some 7000hp, and use well over half of that to just drive the supercharger.
How about just a little turboshaft engine, say from a sea stallion or similar like an unlimited hydroplane boat. I think they use Vietman era Chinook engines, pretty small powerplant, and you could clear the snow and ice off your drive without a plow, dry up the mud instead of slogging through it, light your smokes without a resistance lighter or Zippo, and run off of cheap distillates like kerosene.
Not responsible for advice not taken...

I had another look at it - a lot can be learned just by staring at it.
There are 2 distributors - one for each cylinder bank - mounted directly on the ends of the outboard camshafts. It also has 2 throttle bodies - one for each cylinder bank.
The intake consists of a log manifold for each bank with long runners to each cylinder. That helps me understand why the Brabus biturbo made its torque at 1750rpm.
The position of each throttle body is toward the rear of each log manifold, which should be evidence enough that intake air will sort itself out in most any configuration that a hot-rodder can imagine.
I'll wager it would cost a small fortune to rebuild that thing.

Come and get it....... I'd like to see somebody do something with it. It's certainly a rare one.

I have some hoods, fenders and frames to take the extension panels and pieces from. They extend the front ends of the Gravelrama Jeeps; why not a long-nose Monty?

Frank Hehe...I said "it would fit"...I didn't say I was smart enough or that I had the money to do something with it.

Wish I had the room to build a buggy... That is a rare sight indeed Frank. Although, the V10 BMW might make a more suitable transplant for a high powered buggy.

I'd love to have it and I have the means to build it. But, if you're building a buggy, the first word is SIMPLICITY. When I get all the kids outta my house, I'll be building several badass vehicles that I've always wanted....
Fasteddy's advice is occasionally sound...
