There are others, and older than myself, I might add.

My journeys began in Peoria, IL. Moved here in '86, after college graduation.

I'll let you do the math.

Body Damage is Cool
I know it's not heavy metal, but I saw Tom Petty as an opening act for Be-Bop Deluxe at the Celebrity in '76, or was it '77... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" />

Ok, now those concert tix are epic! And I hate the word epic! Judging by the date you saw Metallica right after and justice for all came out, I bet that was awesome. My first ever concert (that was by myself and not little with my parents) was Pantera on there extreme steel tour in ?2000? I think. I was 15 and it was there last tour as a band. My second ever was "dio, deep purple, and scorpions", and It was awesome. And I cant even remember how many times I've seen Slayer, which is always a good one.

Psssh. I saw Scorp's when they were at their peak: Blackout. But they weren't even the main act. That would have been....Iron Maiden.
