Not sure what my future holds. I finish truck school next Friday, and have at least 2 jobs to choose from. The company I want to work for seems genuinely interested in me, so that will make 3 to choose from (the other 2 will take anyone, even felons).

I'll post up as I know more, but I thought I'd give you all a heads-up. If I disappear for a month (or longer), I'm driving and I'll be back on when I can.

Probably nothing will change for at least 2 weeks, though.

That makes one job in my book. Wonder what their safety records look like. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Main thing is that I hope this is something you enjoy and makes you happy.

Look out for the 'lot lizards!!!!' <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />

Clay, is the company that you posted in O/T the good one or bad one?

I'm very encouraged for you in your current position with a couple of gigs to choose from! Please take it from someone who spent 10 months a year away from home during over 10 years of sea duty that jobs away from home can and WILL be very taxing on the family who's been subjected to it for a while. If you've been around every day for a very long time, please, please expect the unexpected when it comes to the emotional state of those you hold dear. This is in NO way meant to detract from the opportunities you're faced with...I just wanted to bring it up because it WILL come up.

Good luck, brother! Whatever you decide to do will be a step in the right direction. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
