Here in the midwest, those fuel lines are prime for corrosion. Severe corrosion.

Be prepared to soak the line connections overnight first using penetrating fluid or brake fluid.

Worst case scenario is you may have to also buy a new flex line going to the sending unit, a new sending unit (prime for corrosion also), sending unit gasket, pick-up tube sock.

When accessing the sending unit through the access hatch in the rear cargo area, take care not to damage the access door gasket - it's obsolete from Mitsu. If it's bad you'll have to cut a new one.
