Well... a 10 inch lift.... is going to be made to run 38-42ish tires, so....... you're not going to run that tire size on monteros with a stock motor(Bog.. Slow), and if you have a modified or swapped motor, you're not going to run that on stock suspension(Snap.. Break)so... No need really to lift the IFS THAT much. If you're going with that big of a lift, you plan on running MUCH larger tires, and would not need your IFS anyway. It'd be eaiser to cut it all off, and install an axle that will handle #1 a motor capable of turning 40's, and #2 axles capable of withstanding said motor, and tires.
OP..... To be a little bit more constructive......
I would suggest.........
#1 a 4-5 inch IFS Drop kit.. So people could run 35s, 36's, 37's.... which the IFS WILL handle, and gears ARE made for.
#2 an IFS to spring perch adapter kit to put Leaf springs, and a dana 44 / ford 9 inch solid axle in.
#3 an IFS to Coil Bucket / control arm setup to put a Dana 44 / ford 9 inch in.
#4 all the misc. stuff to hook it up... Steering arms, shock mounts.. etc.
It's great that someone is taking the initiative to produce a lift, but it is unfortunate that you did not ask us what we wanted/needed in the first place, and then the costs are running that high. Most of us here are serious cheapos.
I'm seriously looking forward to seeing the pictures!!!!
