The upper control arm doesn't take as much abuse as the lower so I'd imagine an extension would be viable. Hardened bolts might be required like it is with a BJ flip.


I like the idea of folks doing more for Monteros but I always thought IFS drop kits were inherently weak. I figured, the more structure used for drop, the weaker. ....kind of like the suspension is a huge lever that torques on the entire structure every time it hits an obstacle. Then drive-line angles and caster get tweaked.
