Sounds like you might need to hire someone in sales and marketing.

good luck guys. all was looking for is motivation to build something that would help montero enthusiasts. not to be brought down. its not about the money. i will move on to something else. as for the other 9 lifts that i have right now. i guess i will find some guys that like the idea for cost. have a great day im out

Sounds like you figured out that this lift is not feasible and now you are using the mean guys on the wire "bringing you down" as an excuse.

You came on here saying you had a 1900 dollar kit for sale that was ready to ship in 10 days. That was a lie.

We cant call people out on the wire? No pass for this guy from me.

Not the response I was expecting, but whatever. I hear Kleenex is looking for someone to sponsor...

I think comments like this really ought to go on Pirate rather than here.

My bad Ray. Forgot to add the group hug emoticon... I wasn't trying to offend this guy, just poking a little bit. His response sounded alot like a childs' temper tantrum, a la "I'm takin my toys from the sandbox and goin home"...

I'd like to see more of this guy's work. I think it's great that he took the initiative to start something this big. I think that it's already been said that he needed to do more research into the actual uses and needs of the vehicle owners. It seems like a little humility on his part would go a long way. So far, all I've seen is an arrogant attitude that doesn't want to listen to others, whether it be constructive or destructive.

Anyways, I know nothing about what I speak of...

Wow... this went downhill fast since my last post. If your going from ready in 10 days to a cartman-ish "screw you guys im goin home" attitude I am really glad I wasn't interested to begin with. I hear the Geo Metro guys need lift kits.

Now that he's gone and can't get offended anymore.
I honestly think he made one incomplete "lift" realized there's a lot more involved and bailed out. Getting laughed off the face of pirate4x4 and the little jabs here on 4x4wire maybe made him realize he needs to re think his setup. We're better off without these lifts on the road and hopefully we've changed his mind and he won't even run his.
When you make something like this you have to know going into it that it might just be a bunch of work for nothing. It happens to me all the time and it's just part of poineering things. You build it and it's junk so you scrap it and start again until you get it right.

Then sales ain't your gig.

That's exactly what I was trying to get across. I just tried to say it with some humor. Which, obviously, got lost in my keyboard...
