I honestly think he made one incomplete "lift" realized there's a lot more involved and bailed out. Getting laughed off the face of pirate4x4 and the little jabs here on 4x4wire maybe made him realize he needs to re think his setup. When you make something like this you have to know going into it that it might just be a bunch of work for nothing. It happens to me all the time and it's just part of poineering things. You build it and it's junk so you scrap it and start again until you get it right.
