How it is possible that he said this line: "built upper tubular arm to recieve torsions. still debating wether to use those in the kit or coilovers. I am now starting almost from the begining." and then in a later post that same day said he had 9 other kits? Anyway... if you're legit I'll pay you to lift my mighty max 10 inches Ummmm did you look closely! This is a very old thread that was resurrected. If he was genuine, the guy claiming to make them is probably no longer checking it for interested owners.

Justice, I'm in the middle of asking for more detailed pics.
Toasty, how much do you think a SAS would cost. Assuming most of us dont have your skill level. I still think, if he's indeed worked out all the bugs, would be a cheaper alternative. AND assuming he goes with a 4-6" drop kit instead of 10". That wouldnt work at all Like LT said, if you want to be cheap you can swap leaf sprung wagoneer suspension. cost would be somewhere around 1500 if you rebuild your axle. this will be stronger and more reliable than IFS. Drop lifts are weak, i wouldn't use them on any truck that get's wheeled even light wheeling.

Drop lifts are weak, i wouldn't use them on any truck that get's wheeled even light wheeling. I wouldn't say that necessarily. The Thailand government/military was willing to use an IFS drop kit to upgrade their mitsu pickup trucks for duty in the jungles which based on camel trophy events look like they can be pretty harsh terrain. Maybe not as harsh as rock crawling but definitely as harsh if not worse than any easy and many moderate trails. Now that said, I wouldn't say that this guys drop kit is worthwhile to consider especially with the mis-information he was spewing.

I'm keeping track of the cost involved to do a killer SAS on my Gen 2 we can do a cost comparison vs Dat's Thailand lift. It should be pretty close, the end result is a front suspension you can get parts for easily. PA_JERO and I had a discussion about how if he were to break a knuckle drop spacer on that drop lift he'd be in trouble without a custom fab shop in his pocket. I need to make a new front suspension thread so that this thread can go away.

You guys may be right. In the end, a SAS would be better overall but I'm sure it will still require a tad more work. I'd like to do a SAS one day, but only SAS I'd fork the money over for would be coils, not leaf sprung.
Regardless of all the disappointed people, it was exciting at first. Tho it shouldn't be deleted, it may serve some useful info for someone down the road. Ok, I'll let the this thread die now

but only SAS I'd fork the money over for would be coils, not leaf sprung. But you'd dish out money for a ifs drop kit? You could beat the living hell out of a leaf setup its not gonna ride any worse than your t\bar cranked front end in fact its gonna be smoother since its not fully extended at all times no more bending idler arms draglinks etc its only on the plus AND if you want coils down the road unbolt the leafs and BUCKET IT UP! Cheap lift and Strength is waiting in a junkyard near you DO IT.

For coils, don't you also have to add a multi-link setup of some kind to position the axle?

Right but there's not much to leaf suspensions so it's not a ton of work to cut it off and go links.
