Getting the Wheeling Fever
Thought you all might be interested in this.

I recently had my entire truck coated in LineX. Bedliner was done in black and the exterior was done in maroon...matched to the original color. Came out really well and I like it a lot! I wanted a durable coating that would last for a long time. This is regular LineX with the LineX Xtra to make it UV stable. Lifetime warranty.

The truck was looking rough before I had it done.

looks good but why would spend the money for this when it does not look like you do any offroading?

Body Damage is Cool
unnecessary roughness, kook.
branches aren't the only thing that scratch paint.

Looks kinda cool...

Have you noticed if the interior noise level is quieter? I guess if you want it to shine more...you could put a clear coat on top of it...unless it voids the warranty.

Guess its up to each how to spend their money. My brushguard held up pretty well when I rolled the truck. It did bend so I have cut it off and plan to weld some new tubing on. I also torched off the shackle hangers and plan to move those to the front instead of underneath where they kept hitting rocks. Truck is in process of getting new radiator support panel, headlights, fender, snorkel and doors. Hope to have it out this summer.

I don't really do serious off roading....hell it's not lifted nor does it have off road tires (does have some really good Michelins on it though that are decent off road)I mainly use it as a daily driver and also use it for driving trails in my area.

I was needing to get it repainted anyway and once I priced a QUALITY paint job combined with a spray in bed liner compared to the LineX, the LineX came out the same price or maybe even a little cheaper.

My wife recently had to take the truck to work and while she was at work, it hailed on the truck. All the vehicles around her had hail damage EXCEPT for mine. There wasn't a scratch on mine at all!

So, I'm very happy with it and don't regret it for a minute.

Haven't really noticed a difference in the road noise.

It actually has two coats on top of the LineX. It has the regular LineX, a coat of the LineX Xtra to make it UV stable, and then a coat of some newer product that is much like a clearcoat.

Clearcoating it would void the warranty I'm sure and serve no real purpose since it's already clearcoated. There is a nationwide lifetime warranty on the finish....get it scratched or chipped and LineX will repair it for free.
