Hi All in Az been gone ... Works been nuts ..Anyone need a job..LOL.. All is good ..As allways the great northern AZ Monty dumping grounds for Montys is full ...We got 3 swb in a junk yard.. 4 cyl one stick and two auto ..All three grey inside (JBFP you out there) .. One auto rolled hard <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> but has new head and carb and A/C pump was a runner around town before the tire blow out ...We have a 4cyl stick 88 bad motor for sell... A 87 auto trans and t-case thats for sell too.. A 90 lWB sun roof setting on four flat tires ..LOL... And some sort of Monty Sport that I have know clue about but its $400.00 ...Not my junk .. But if you need parts

I need a red drivers door and finder 89 swb ..And a hood if its real nice ... I have a 90 2.4 motor and all the goodies to make it run to sell .. I drove the truck around the shop a lap or two it ran ..Truck was wrecked so I could not run it long ...Sold my last SOHC 2.4 Monty swb I set up so no need to keep this motor...

Hope all are good ..Will be in and out of the valley the next few months if anyone is around ...

I would love a restomod Gen1 SWB with the sport 2.4, sport IFS and disc rear, that would be awesome.

Now a Starion auto bellhousing would get you a wided block 2.4 on to a narrow Monty 2.6 auto trans...

Right ...............?.....

Not a "juice box" guy so just thinking out loud ...We need a place to put the 2.4 info ..I've done a few of them ...Great 4cyl motors ....

I can't really say for sure what would work and what wouldn't. I have the older three-speed Torque-Flite transmission and a narrow-block 2.6, so I'm not sure what or if regarding interchangeability.

It would be nice to get fuel injection and an engine that actually builds oil pressure when you start it, though.
