I start my new job on Tuesday! No unemployment for me! Working as a mechanic at a local towing company. Its 2 miles down the road from me, M-F 8-5, same pay as I had at Comair! I got pretty lucky on this one. I know guys who have handed in hundreds of apps all around the world and have no luck. I just saw a sign "mechanic wanted" and called. Interviewed the next day and had the job within 15 minutes!

Just don't go into too much debt on the tool trucks <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

I'm the LAST person to spend any money on a tool truck. I've only stepped foot in there one time, and have never bought anything. I bought my box at Harbor Freight, along with tools from HF and Sears.

You're a stronger man than I am. I just payed off my debt to Snap-On a couple years ago (toolbox and some tools).

The worst part was that I didn't need the box anymore but I couldn't get it sold to pay off the account ($4500 for a box I paid almost $10k for). I think Dave Ramsey would call that a "Stupid Tax".

So, it sits in my garage to this day. At least I don't have to buy another one.
