Matt, you may still have to judiciously trim the front bumper ends. One thing in particular with the wide rims is that the tires will track very nicely and not wallow like the stock rim width with a given 11.5 or 12.5 inch section. My Raider was very spritely with the big all terrains and I was not afraid to go deep into the appropriately graded road corners. Given the Monty/Raider isn't a sports car like the Austin Healey Sprites I had, but you couldn't tell the truck to not corner. Local roads like Scott Road between Rancho Murieta and Folsom, or Hwy 49 from El Dorado to Plymouth were really fun in the twisty-windy sections.

Have you mentioned whether the tires are all terrain or muds? This will have some bearing on the road manners.
