I think I got ripped off big time in buying that replacement Mikuni. They told me their carbs are bench-tested and guaranteed to work, so that's why I went ahead and bought it. Well, the only thing their warranty covers is that the carb can be rebuilt, not that it works. I was going to call them out on their so-called "bench testing", and ask so how many psi did they put thru the hand pump to make sure the secondaries worked? But I had my mind made up that I was going to return it and not bother with trying to fix my Mikuni.

One thing I didn't think about though regarding the Weber kit. I'm in VA right now, but my home of record is back in CA. I have a funny feeling that Weber conversion will NOT be legal back in CA? The one shop that sells turbo kits for carbed Montys (TEP?) says on their website that their Weber kits are not street legal in CA.
