Luckily my boundaries of what feels like a 'big project' have been stretched pretty far. If I end up hating it, the Gen 1 mounting points are all still there. I was partly just curious to see if it was possible, and I thought it might marginally make my wiring job easier.

My feelings towards it at the moment are pretty neutral...I think it's just too foreign looking, and I just need to get used to it. All the gaping holes make it a bit difficult to imagine the end-product, and I intend to paint/dye it some other color (undecided).
