SeaFoam is an additive you can buy at auto parts stores. Comes in a red and white metal can. Get two cans.

Put one entire can in a tank of fuel. Drive that tank of fuel down before refilling.

At the same time, put half of another can in the oil. When the tank of gas is about to be refilled, change the oil.

With the remaining half can, and this is the fun part, and you do this at the same time you add the other cans in, too, you need to pull off the vacuum line that feeds the brake booster. Tape a skinny line on to the end of that line to make a 12" long line that is leading to the intake of the engine. Start the engine and have an assistant help keep the engine running while you do this (because it will want to stall). Don't rev the heck out of it, but keep it running while you slowly have the engine inhale bits of the SeaFoam from the can into that line. Do a little at a time to avoid stalling the engine until it's all inhaled, then shut the engine off and let it sit for about an hour.

When you are letting it sit, take off the skinny line and reconnect the brake booster. Here's the fun part, but your neighbors will not like this. When you restart the engine, find the fastest way out of your neighborhood and on to the closest freeway. There will be a HUGE cloud of smoke coming out of the back, and I mean HUGE. Proceed to drive the heck out of the car for a few miles. Rev it to redline, or close, before letting it shift. It will smoke for a few miles and gradually diminish. Return home when you think your neighbors may have gone about their business and won't be waiting with the EPA.

This cleans out the intake system and combustion chambers. The SeaFoam in the oil will help clean out the lower part of the engine, and the stuff in the gas tank helps with the fuel delivery system. Total cost is about $20, plus the gas you burn and the oil change you do after the 200-odd miles.
