I hope to have these on by mid-July. I'm going to be running a 2" suspension and 3" bodylift. 4.90 gears.

Check with the AZ crew. One of them has Lloyd's old 2 door running 35's with the same lift setup you're considering. IIRC, it fit 'ok' but Lloyd did have to do some trimming. Also don't expect to run very quickly with that gearing.

My front clip is fairly tweaked, Cutting is not a problem.
4.90s, 38s, and drop a gear and its the same as 31s.

Thanks, there are some old trails I'd like to take up in NC this summer. I just need a 4.90 rear, BL/shackles/UCAs, gen2 brakes and I'll be set.

V6 front IFS (with spares) with 4.88
gen2 brakes
4.90 rear welded or airlocker
3" body lift
2" suspension
38.5x15r15 boggers
10k winch

should work great, I don't romp on the gas unless its mud Plus it won't tip over to easy!

Biggest tires you can run stock are used 34"s (33.7"). If you want to run full tread new tires stock, you will be limited to 33"s. So lets do the math:

Stock No Lift: 34" Tires (Used)
+ 3" Body Lift: 37" Tires (Used)
+ 2" Suspension Lift: 39" Tires (Used)

Stock No Lift: 33" Tires (New)
+ 3" Body Lift: 36" Tires (New)
+ 2" Suspension Lift: 38" Tires (New)

Lets consider gearing next. Moving up to 4.88s from 4.62s will just about account for 2" of tire size.

34"s w/ 4.88s = 32"s w/ 4.62s
36"s w/ 4.88s = 34"s w/ 4.62s
38"s w/ 4.88s = 36"s w/ 4.62s

You are really pushing the limits of the vehicle, but more power to you in my opinion. You will be setting the bar for what the stock trucks can handle. Right now the largest that has been run is 35"s with the IFS/Stock Setup. Between you running the 38.5"s and me running the Q78s (36") we will cover the upper end of what the stock trucks can handle.

I could cut the fenders and run it with 2" lift if I wanted to.

There is PLENTY to cut before you begin to mess with the inner fenders.

Front:
(with straight tires) it didn't touch. The back side of the fender can be cut a good 4" or so. the top about 1-2" and the front can just be cutoff up to the turn signal.
Back:
In the back it rubs the bumper and forward part of the fender opening. You can cut a good 1-1.5" out of the entire rear opening, flush with the tub/inner fender.

Could use a dead blow hammer in some spots too.
