For a gen I V6, 35s are definately max with lift, 5:29s and t/case gears. If you wheel it, you will break some stuff as well. Gen II with DOHC gives you some more power and drivetrain strength to go larger without serious breakage.

I agree with you on 35s on the rocks, but down here the terrain is a lot more forgiving. I doubt anything will break even with the 4cyl axles, but I have V6 axles waiting if they do. I'm a light footed driver though too. I hope these boggers will help me out, the BFG A/Ts don't bite good enough with the kind of power/speeds I have. I don't need the low gears or 5.29s, it won't be a highway vehicle <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I'm hoping to keep it as low as possible. There is plenty to cut in front and back of each tire, but the top is whats limiting me right now. I'll have to go stuff the front tires and estimate how much to cut for the 38.5s...
