OK, please don't flame me... I know this is a stupid question, but when I was replacing the engine in my 4runner I "thought" I put them on the same order that they came off but now I'm not so sure. what is the order that the spacers or washers or whatever go on. i did engine-flexplate - thick washer -then thin washer. Is that right. I have a service manual but it is not with me right now. What happened is the started died and it was making a weird noise so we thought it may not be fully disengaging. Please tell me I didn't put it back together wrong... Right now we put a washer between the starter to back it off a little bit just in case and it seems to be working. __________________
