Getting the Wheeling Fever
The heater hoses where the 1st thing I checked, no leak that I can see. I also reached back there with my hand to see if I could feel any coolant or get some on fingers.
Me, IÆm a self employed contract pilot. I specialize on PC-12Æs. Been flying that airframe for the last five years, before that I was Chief Pilot for a company here in Phoenix.

Possible, Toasty, but he probably has it right saying it's the pipe from the water pump running through the valley to the back of the engine and it's associated hose connections. Too bad I've never done one, or I'd offer to help...not to mention, I have no garage.

Might want to post up in the Tech section for mo' better advice.

PC-12...turbine powered single with a tail so big a whole family can picnic in the shade under it...for the win.

ThatÆs the Machine. When I use to fly Caravans, we would string a hammock under the wing.

Kerby, he has a 3.0. And did you know the very first thing you'd see on the very front of an F-15 is the head of a Phillips-headed bolt? Or that after the first four B-1's were made, the variable inlets and crew escape module were eliminated? But I don't know what the Vne is on a PC-12.

I read a lot.

The water pipe for the 3.0 may not be as bad as the 3.5, but itÆs still alot parts to come off the front and top of the motor.

For turbine powered aircraft we use Vmo and Mmo

Vmo 240 KCAS or 236 KIAS
Mmo .48
We are the speed bump in the sky above FL250. If you would like to barrow a reference manual, let me know, I have 6 of them.

Can any of you guys recommend a shop or someone that does side work?

Look up a place called Service First on Cave Creek Rd North of Cactus. Ask for John Wilt - a knowledgeable mechanic that I used to work with. He will be honest with you and charge you a reasonable price to do only what your vehicle needs and no more - much better than I can say for most mechanics I've dealt with. Make sure you tell him that Ryan Yantzer sent you over.

What part of North Phoenix are you in? I'm out near Tatum and the 101 Loop in the Desert Ridge area - maybe we're near each other. It seems like everyone in Phx other than JohnB is way out in the East Valley or halfway to Las Vegas.
