Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
Hi All,
Just wanted to check in with the AZ Crew. Just relocated to Phoenix, from So Cal a while back. Got tired of doing the 367 mile commute, every week from So Cal to PHX every week. Seems like a lot of new MITS owners in the Phoenix area, so I thought IÆd keep the ball rolling. Hope to meet up with you all in the future.

You should have another one show up soon. Guy with a nicely built Jeep who's leaving Alaska. Told him to visit the 'Wire and hook up with you guys. AF kid. I believe he'll be there in a month or so.

Pa_Jero, don't know if you noticed his join date...he's been here longer than any of us, just new to Phoenix living. And just in time for summer!
Welcome.

Thanks for the welcome. I was planning t trip up to Monument Valley this weekend, but need to put that on hold. I got out of my truck and stepped into a stream of green coolant. ItÆs leaking from the back of the motor, and for the life of me I canÆt fine the leak. I have a feeling itÆs the water pipe that runs to the back of the motor. Can any of you guys recommend a shop or someone that does side work?
Greg.

I wouldn't recommend ANYONE in the Phoenix area (save for maybe a dealer or one of us) to work on a Montero. Have you checked the Devil's own heater hoses, running from the firewall to the back of the engine? Probably would take a flashlight to see for sure.
Which airline do you fly for? My brother has been over at U.S. Air/Am. West for about 25 years now.
