I'm fitting out a new 4D56T engine that doesn't have a dipstick guide tube, so I'm fabricating one. What I need to know is the length of the tube from the top to the point where it meets the engine. This is critical because the dipstick needs to descend to the correct depth in the crankcase. Would one of you guys be willing to measure the length of the dipstick guide tube on a 4D56 (or 4D55) for me and send it along? Many thanks.
