Has anyone replaced their seat belt themselves?
Mine is getting frayed. I got a new one from kia and was wondering if i should use blue or red locktite on the bolts?

Personally, I would use Blue. Make sure that you torque them properly. Check them in 6 months then again in another 6 months to make sure they are staying tight. Never had an experience where a bolt backed out using blue. Everet

i replaced mine when i swapped my interior, very easily done...just remove any visible screws and bolts and then carefully pry trim up so as not to break any tabs off...everet is right in that blue does not usually back off but i believe they originally had red, and seat belt bolts arent something you pull off on a regular basis so red would be fine as well, just harder to get off if ever needed <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
