Problem with 4D56T swap into Raider

Hello, everyone. I just spent a touch-and-go Sunday dropping a 4D56T into my Dodge Raider whose gas-guzzling heart I had previously torn out. Engine mounts and bell housing bolts lined up nicely and everything is torqued down and snug. However, the engine angles up somewhat toward the front of the car. Is this normal? I haven't tried to put the hood on yet and am wondering if it will close over the oil fill cap. Now, I used the engine mounts from the gas engine. Is it possible that I need different (that is, thinner) mounts so the engine sits lower in the bay? Many thanks for your thoughts.

from the reading I had done in the past...the 2.6 G54B engine mounts are the correct ones to use, I didn't know it would be so close to the hood though, our GEN II trucks have plenty of room as the intercooler sits on top of the valve cover. although the JDM GEN I's with the 4D56T had a top-mount intercooler aswell, the specific diesel mounts for the GEN I trucks must be a lot different.
I would just set your hood on top right now before you finish buttoning everything up...just incase you have to pull it out again.
